Ooh, this is cool! It's nice to see that you're also trying to draw different animals than what you're used to. I love the strong contrast between the yellow and the black, and his blue and yellow scarf is adorable and really stands out. The way you've drawn the glow is lovely, and it wonderfully compliments his dark body. I think that the shading is wonderful, and shows his velvetty-looking fur so well!
